Segerstad Nature Reserve
Located near Karlstad, in the heart of Värmland, Segerstad Nature Reserve offers stunning views of Vänern, Sweden's largest lake. The open landscape, peaceful hiking trails, and expansive views make it an ideal location for a family or maternity shoot in Sweden.
During golden hour, the nature reserve takes on a warm, soft glow that perfectly complements pure and relaxed images. A photoshoot at Segerstad Nature Reserve doesn't feel posed, but natural and free, exactly how a family or maternity shoot should be.
I had the privilege of capturing a special shoot for Tiffany and Rasmus, a combination of a family shoot and a maternity shoot. How beautiful it is to bring these two moments together: the family as it is now, and the new life that's on its way.
We went to Segerstad Nature Reserve together, a spot overlooking the impressive Vänern. We took a relaxing walk to the viewpoint and back. No fixed poses, no pressure, just being together and enjoying the moment.
During golden hour, we were treated to the softest light. Along the way, I captured spontaneous moments of them as a family, while Tiffany was also allowed to truly take center stage. When daddy and their little one went exploring, I took the time to capture her as mommy-to-be. Soft, powerful, and full of anticipation.
