General Terms and Conditions

Applicability

These terms and conditions apply to all quotations, agreements, and services provided by Dimara van Busschbach, based in Sunne, Sweden.

Services include, but are not limited to, photography, graphic design, branding, content creation, and related creative work.

By entering into an agreement, the client agrees to these terms and conditions.

Agreement

An assignment becomes final once both parties have given written approval.

For wedding photography, a deposit may be required to secure the date.

Payment

Invoices must be paid within 30 days of the invoice date, unless agreed otherwise.

Payment can be made via bank transfer or Swish.

If payment is not received on time, the photographer reserves the right to suspend delivery of services or files until payment has been completed.

Cancellation and rescheduling

Rescheduling a photoshoot must be communicated at least 1 day in advance.

Cancellations must be made at least 5 days in advance.

If a cancellation is made within 5 days before the shoot, 50% of the agreed amount will be charged.

If a cancellation is made on the same day, the full amount will be charged.

In case of bad weather or conditions that make a shoot impossible (such as strong wind, rain, snow, or insufficient light for real estate photography), the shoot can be rescheduled in consultation.

Force majeure

If the photographer or designer is unable to carry out the assignment due to illness, equipment failure, or other unforeseen circumstances, a new date will be scheduled in consultation.

If rescheduling is not possible, a suitable solution will be discussed together.

Delivery of photos

Photos are typically delivered within 4 weeks after the photoshoot.

During busy periods, this timeframe may vary slightly.

Photos are delivered in high resolution. Higher resolution files can be provided upon request if needed.

The photographer makes the final selection of images delivered.

RAW files are not provided.

Editing

All photos are edited in the photographer’s style.

Additional editing requests outside the standard workflow can be discussed if needed.

Copyright and usage

The client receives a license for personal use or agreed-upon business use.

Images may not be edited, altered, or used for commercial purposes without prior permission.

Portfolio use

Photos and designs may be used by the photographer for:

Website portfolio
Social media
Blog articles
Case studies

This is always discussed with the client beforehand.

Use by suppliers and locations

Suppliers or venues may use photos for promotional purposes, provided this has been agreed upon in advance with both the photographer and the client or couple.

Archiving

Photos and project files are stored for a minimum of 2 years.

After this period, files may be deleted.

Clients are therefore advised to store their files safely after delivery.

Graphic design and revisions

Graphic design projects follow this general process:

First concept
Feedback moment
Presentation
Revision round
Final delivery

If additional revision rounds are required outside the agreed scope, these can be carried out at an hourly rate of €75 excluding VAT (moms).

Liability

The photographer and designer take great care in executing work and storing files securely.

In the unlikely event of technical failure, loss of files, or other unforeseen issues, liability is limited to the amount invoiced for the specific assignment.

Wedding photography

For wedding photography, a timeline is discussed in advance to capture the key moments of the day. Any changes to the schedule should be communicated as early as possible.

If the wedding runs longer on the day or additional time is requested, extra photography time can be added at the applicable hourly rate.

The photographer works in a documentary and natural style, allowing space for spontaneous moments with light guidance where needed.

If circumstances beyond the photographer’s control (such as delays, weather conditions, or location restrictions) affect the schedule or flow of the day, this may influence the quantity or nature of the final images. In all cases, the photographer will do her best to capture the day as fully as possible.

Delivery of design files

For graphic design projects, the client receives the final files suitable for the intended use (such as print or online).

Source files or working files (such as Adobe, Figma, or other design project files) are not included by default, unless agreed otherwise in advance.

If source files are requested, this can be arranged for an additional fee.

Dimara van Busschbach retains the right to use the created designs for portfolio, social media, and case studies, unless agreed otherwise.

Changes

Dimara van Busschbach reserves the right to update these terms and conditions. The most recent version will always be available on the website.
